After School Clubs
At the moment our arrangements are different so please call or email the school office if you wish to book your child into a club. Below is the way we operate in normal circumstances.
At Fair Furlong Primary School we are very proud of the variety of clubs which we offer both at lunchtimes and after school.
At lunchtime we run a daily Computer Club where children can practise some of the things they have learnt in school using Purple Mash (https://www.purplemash.com/sch/fair-bs13), Studyzone (https://www.studyzone.tv/) and Times Table Rockstars (https://ttrockstars.com/home). Everyday our outdoor classroom is opened up for children to develop forest, gardening and creative skills. We also run a daily Lego Club and a daily Wellbeing Club; and on a Monday we run a lunchtime Chess Club. Our Y6 all have the opportunity to take part in a Woodwork Club which is run by our site manager Mr Parcel, throughout the year.
After school clubs run every day. This provision is free and registration takes place in the office during July ready for Terms 1 and 2; during December ready for Terms 3 and 4; and during March/April ready for Terms 5 and 6.
The clubs we offer are as follows:
Monday – Football or Drama – Drama club is run by Unique Voice and your child will need to be in Y2 or above to attend (https://uniquevoice.org/about-us/)
Tuesday – Art & Craft or Healthy Bodies and Healthy Minds or Tag Rugby – Tag Rugby is run by our Ed Support Sports Coaches and your child will need to be in Y3 or above to attend this club.(This club will vary depending on the season e.g. in T5/6 it might run as a Cricket Club).
