The School Day

Timings for our School day:

The school day for Reception Class to Year 6 begins at 8.50am and ends at 3.20pm.

This means that, in a typical week, children are in school for 32.5 hours.

Our Nursery Classes have a slightly shorter day, from 8.50am- 3pm.

Changes to drop-off and collection points

In order to achieve an even smoother start to our mornings, this year classes will not line up at 8.49am and be led in by staff. Instead, our school gates will open, as before, at 8.40am and then at 8.45am the external school doors will be opened and children will enter their corridors and classrooms and begin their school day. Last entry through the gates will be 8.50am, after this, as always, children who are late will need to enter through the school’s main office.

At the end of the day, our gates will open at 3.15pm, and parents and carers can collect their children from their classrooms or designated collection points. (Please see the map below to see where to collect your child from.)
