EVENTS IN TERM 1 2017/2018

Our first term of this new school year started with all children enjoying their 'New Beginnings' topic.  The children also enjoyed Harvest and Class assemblies.   Some Year 5 children enjoyed a camp at Barton Camp, Winscombe.  The term finished with everyone celebrating 'World Day'.










EVENTS IN TERM 2 2017/2018


Events during this term included a visit by Year 6 to Caldicot Castle; Year 1 visited Tyntesfield; groups of children sang christmas carols at B&M Imperial Park and Hartcliffe Nursing Home.  Over 200 children joined Santa for a Walk to School in December and everyone enjoyed a fantastic Christmas lunch just before the term ended.  We held Anti Bullying Week when Unique Voice delivered assemblies and workshops to everyone and we enjoyed taking part in Odd Socks Day.  Reception and Year 1 performed a fantastic Christmas performance entitled 'I Spy Christmas'.

EVENTS IN TERM 3 2017/2018

During this term Year 6 visited Slimbridge and Year 5 received a Golden Ticket each when they visited the SS Great Britain.  Reception enjoyed a series of workshops at Bristol Cathedral and everyone has enjoyed class assemblies from Black Pepper; Juniper; Sage and Fennel classes.  During the last week of Term 3 on Tuesday 6 February we had our Internet Safety Day.  





EVENTS IN TERM 4 2017/2018


Term 4 was a short but exciting term.   Some parents enjoyed weekly cooking sessions with The Square Food Foundation; Year 3 children visited Barton Camp (please click here to view photos); children dressed up for World Book Day; the Nursery have enjoyed visits to 'Pets at Home' Imperial Park; some children shared their talents in our Talent Shows; Phase 2 performed 'Tattybogle'; Year 2 visited Noah's Ark; Year 5 attended an engineering conference at UWE and Year 4 enjoyed some Ugandan cooking!
